Dr. Hoàng Xuân Quang, an Associate Professor at Vinh University with a Ph.D. in Zoology, has over two decades of expertise in herpetology, specializing in the taxonomy, ecology, and conservation of amphibians and reptiles in Vietnam.
As Chairman of the Amphibian and Reptile Research Association of Vietnam, Dr. Quang has authored over 30 scientific papers, advancing knowledge of Vietnam’s diverse herpetofauna and addressing conservation challenges. He has mentored numerous students, many of whom now lead conservation efforts globally.
Dr. Quang's leadership extends to international collaborations, contributing to global conservation initiatives. Currently, he serves as a key expert at Animal Pedia, promoting public awareness of reptiles and amphibians through innovative educational content.
